With TM remote sensing data and topographic data as the main data sources, coupled with other statistical information obtained in the upper reaches of Minjiang River, the authors tried to apply the analytic hierarchy process ( AHP ) to reframing the vulnerability characteristics resulting from complicated factors and establishing the comprehensive evaluation index system and the model with multiple objective elements. Vegetation index change rate, population density, terrain relief, slope and soil type were five factors serving as evaluation index factors in the AHP to determine the weight of each evaluation index, and superimposition analysis of the indicators was made on the ArcGIS platform. Taking the arid and warm valley in upper Min River Basin as research object, this paper constructed an ecological security evaluative system of rural tourism based on Pressure-State-Response model.After defining the insecurity index and e-valuation indices of the target ecosystem, it evaluated the insecurity degree of rural tourism.The results show that ecological sys-tem quality, life species quality and forest coverage are the most important limiting factors of ecosystem security .Ecological con-struction ability and environmental protection consciousness play major limiting roles for ecological security response ability in the arid and warm valley in upper Min River Basin.This study is not only beneficial to the management for the target region , but also provides reference for decision-making in rapid recovery after Wenchuan Earthquake.

There are three groups of factors related to topography ,geology and hydrology which have influence on the formation of gully type debris flow s .In this study ,a single representative factor (G-factor) for the topography is proposed ,which can be used to give threshold values for debris flow formation .The study was carried out in the upper reaches of Minjiang River ,which is located in the Wenchuan earthquake area .During some rainfall events after the earthquake ,some gully type debris flows were triggered in some catchments .In some catchments no debris flows were triggered even though these catchments were in the vicinity of gullies with triggered debris flows .We isolated andanalyzed the influence of the topography on the formation of debris flows because during these rainfall events the hydrological conditions were almost the same in the investigated gullies . The same-frequency area composition method was used to analyze the area composition of a design flood of the dam site of the Xiaonanhai Hydropower Station. The flood routing in the river reach of the dam site was simulated with the artificial neural network model, and the influence of the flood control operation of the upstream cascade reservoir group on the design flood of the Xiaonanhai Hydropower Station in different typical years was analyzed. The results show that the flood control operation of the upstream cascade reservoir group has a significant influence on the design flood of the Xiaonanhai Hydropower Station, especially on the reduction of rare floods. The floods that mainly come from the Jinshajiang River are greatly influenced by the flood control operation, while the floods that mainly come from the Minjiang River are not significantly influenced by the flood control operation.

Various kinds of biological productive land ecological footprint and ecological carrying capacity of Heishui County have been calculated in this article by analyzing the data of economic development situation investigation and biological consumption of Heishui in 2012 by ecological footprint theory and method .The data shows that in 2012 of Heishui ,the total ecological surplus is 71 276 .212 hm2 ,overall ecological car‐rying capacity 187 778 .85 hm2 ,and to tal ecological surplus 116 502 .66 hm2 .As can be seen from ecologi‐cal surplus situation ,overall ecological carrying capacity is about 2 .6 times that of total ecological footprint in Heishui County ,and this area is in the stage of sustainable development .And the paper puts forward four suggestions and opinions .

Based on exploiting the correlations among the image wavelet decomposition coefficients in a sub -band, an adaptive statistical model for wavelet image coefficients was presented and applied to the image denoising of Remote Sensing Image .Each wavelet coefficient was firstly modeled as a random variable of a generalized Gaussian distribution ( GGD) ,then,based on the algorithm of the wavelet soft threshold denoising and according to the characteristics of spa -tial clustering of wavelet decomposition coefficients , a new local adaptive algorithm was proposed and applied to restore the noisy images by estimating the coefficients with maximum a posteriori probability rule ( MAP) .The algorithm was applied to denoise the noisy Remote Sensing Image of Maoergai area in the upper Minjiang where contains typical vege -tation and soil .Simulation results showed that the higher peak-signal to noise ratio and the better visual effects were ob-tained as compared to other image denoising methods .
