在当代的大多数文学史著作中,如王庆生主编的《中国当代文学史》、陈思和主编的《中国当代文学史教程》、董健、丁帆、王彬彬主编的《中国当代文学史新稿》、王嘉良、颜敏主编的《中国现当代文学史上》和洪子诚的《中国当代文学史》,男性作家创造出的女性形象占了文学史的半壁江山,而女性作家及其作品所占文学史的篇幅却是少之又少,这是一种偶然,还是必然?八九十年代女性作家群的异军突起,但也只是分得了文学史中边缘的一席之地。男性学者视野的局限性及其市场时代社会环境的影响导致了这种现象的产生。
