According to the change of upper roller diameter,rolling line height of cold rolling mill is adjusted through a tapered-wedge stepped-plate rolling line adjustment unit.Take the Shougang 1450mm UCMW mill as an example,the structure of the adjusting device is introduced in this paper.The relation among stepped-plate and roller diameters is derived with the exhaustive method and extremum method.The result shows the device has compact structure,favorite self-locking,and convenient operation .A reference is provided for the design of other analogical cold-rolling mills.

The design of a blockage adjustor at the exit is commonly used in simulating the impacts of backward pressure on the isolator flow field.Numerical simulation was adopted to study the effects of different block modes.Three modes were compared,including installing a flat on the ramp side wall,a flat on the cowl side wall and a wedge in the middle of the flow field.The results show that due to the asymmetric boundary layer on the ramp wall and cowl wall,the shock trains formed by them are all next to the cowl side.The intensity of the shock train generated by the second mode is stronger and the boundary layer separates more evidently,which chocks the isolator more easily and poses difficulty for the study of shock train in experiment.The other two modes can generate similar flow field,but the first one can be realized more easily.

This paper introduced research status and development tendency of physical demulsification technologies and equipment about W/O emulsions in crude oil or waste oil. Applications of external force and field energy to demulsify were discussed respectively. External force demulsification mainly employs cyclones,using centrifugal force,coalescence plate using coalescence force,or membrane device using stress force. Field energy demulsification normally focuses on applying microwave field, ultrasonic field,or electric field. Working mechanism,structure and working process of water hammer harmonic demulsification technology were emphasized.This paper pointed out that the development directions of demulsification technologies should be energy and cost effective,and environmental friendly.
