林徽因的诗中萦绕着一种虚无情绪,这种现象在当时的新月诗人中并不多见。林徽因诗中的虚无情绪常常与诗人对大自然的体验相互融合,在优美的自然景象中发现死亡、"无常"。这种情绪与诗人自身的身世、病痛以及对古代建筑的研究密切相关。

Lin Huiyin’s poems are filled with some sort of sentiments of emptiness, which is not common among the poems by the poets of the New Moon School. The sentiments of emptiness in Lin Huiyin’s poems is often blended in her feelings of the great nature, discovering death and uncertainty. Such kind of sentiments is closely connected with the poet’s experience, suffering and her study of ancient architecture.

Wang Zengqi is a one of writers who relatively early wrote short stories with stream -of-consciousness technique in modern Chinese history of literature .Wang Zengqi focused stream of consciousness novel in his early works .His novels were based on the collision and fusion between Chinese lyric literature tradition and the western modernism literature ideological trend , and had elements of prose and poetry .To his later years , he pro-posed to return to the realism , and return to national traditions , which tend to be more skilled in the art .
