根据五年制高职学生英语词汇学习现状,从词汇学习目标、内容及方法三个方面探讨学生词汇学习中普遍存在的问题,同时针对这些问题提出“制定词汇学习目标,扩大英语词汇量;发展词汇技能,增加词汇学习深度;运用多种方法,灵活进行词汇教学”等相应对策。
According to the situation of five-year system students'' English vocabulary learning in higher vocational colleges, this paper discusses the ubiquitous problems existing in their English vocabulary learning from three aspects:vocabulary learning goals, contents and methods, meanwhile aiming at these problems puts forwards corresponding countermeasure as the following:"formulate vocabulary learning goals;enlarge English lexical resources;improve students’ vocabulary skills;increase the depth of vocabulary learning;adopt various learning methods and lfexible vocabulary teaching ways".

研究者请英语专业的138名学生完成了学习风格自我分析任务、两项词汇测试及词汇学习问卷,并根据词汇测试成绩,选出4名英语学习者(两名词汇测试高分者、两名低分者),运用定性研究的方法,分析了他们的学习风格、词汇记忆过程、词汇学习观念与策略。研究结果表明,学习者对自我学习风格的认识程度越详尽,其词汇学习方法越多样,词汇测试结果也越好。
This study is one relative discovery of“Foreign Language Learning Methods”.138 students from English department are asked to finish a self-analysis on learners’learning style preferences, two vocabulary tests and a questionnaire on vocabulary learning. Two successful learners and two unsuccessful learners are selected based on their vocabulary tests results. This paper analyzes their learners’preferences,vo-cabulary learning methods ,vocabulary memorizing processes, vocabulary learning beliefs and strategies in qualitative ways. The research indi-cates that the more clearly learners recognize their learners’preferences ,the more vocabulary learning methods they use and the better result they get in vocabulary tests as well.

Vocabulary learning is one of the crucial steps in second language acquisition .Effective vocabulary learning strategies facilitate students improve their vocabulary levels to a large extent .Based on cognitive process of SLA ,this study investigated 202 female students in tertiary college on their vocabulary learning strategies and tested their vocabula-ry size .The finding showed that female students can employ lots of metacognitive and cognitive strategies to improve vo-cabulary learning including deep level processing and mechanical strategies .In addition ,correlation was found between vocabulary learning strategies ,which were helpful to vocabulary learning ,and test results in female students .

In the 21st century, with the rapid development of our society, the science and technology, especially with China’s entry into the WTO, China and other countries will have more and more co-operation.
