The purpose of this study is to compare the gait between primary school students walking with sneakers and Heelys. Pedestrian behaviors are observed for the pupils wearing sneakers, Closed-Wheel Heelys (CWH) and Open-Wheel Heelys (OWH). A high-speed video camera is set up to film the pupils’ gait at sideline when they are walking along described by four indices, that is, chose step length, stride frequency, walking velocity and landing angle. These indices are analyzed under normal walking condition. Also the impact of varying high-heels on the walking gait is analyzed. The results show that wearing sneakers causes the longest step length while the shortest with OWH. In comparison, wearing sneakers, CWH and OWH leads to decreasing stride frequency, walking velocity, and landing angle. The noticeable difference in averaged measurements is found among step length, walking velocity and landing angle(P<0.01), and so is also found in stride frequency(P<0.05).

The running track is the only way for electric multiple unit ( EMU ) getting in or out of the EMU servicing depot, therefore, ensuring the passing ability of the EMU running track will play an important role for ensuring the normal operation of high-speed railway. This paper, taking the EMU running track on a certain high-speed railway in the Northeast China as an example, focusing on the different opinions on how the passing signal on the EMU running track should be set and displayed, by means of deep analysis of relevant stipulations in technical standards, and in combination with actual application cases, eventually puts forward a reasonable mode for setting up and displaying the passing signals with which the passing ability of the EMU running track could be better. Also, the paper suggests how to further expand the passing ability of EMU running track.

Fault diagnosis of locomotive running gear is one of the important means to guarantee the safe operation of the locomotive. In view of existing fault diagnosis problems that the feature extrac-tion is difficult and fault detection is not accurate for the locomotive running gear rolling bearing, fault diagnosis method based on PCA-LSSVM is proposed in this paper. By using the method of prin-cipal component analysis ( PCA) , the fault characteristics of locomotive running gear rolling bearing are extracted and the extracted feature vector is input into the fault diagnosis model. The fault diag-nosis of locomotive running gear of rolling bearing is realized by combined with the principle of least squares support vector machine ( LSSVM ) . The simulation results show that compared with other methods the classification accuracy reached 100 percent and the model building time was 3 . 642 sec-onds, satisfying the demands of locomotive rolling bearing diagnosis. The rational selection of processing parameters of reciprocating wire electrical discharge machining is crucial to the quality of parts.Based on a large amount of machining practice on DK7732 machine tool,the impacts of the main factors,such as the wire electrode material,diameter,wire speed,tension,electrical parameters,working fluid,verticality etc,on processing quality were analyzed.It provides some reference for processing parameters selection of reciprocating-feed WEDM.

As an important fault type in the Liaodongwan Depression ,strike slip faults are components of the Tan-Lu fault zone ,and they have exerted major influences on the structural framework and hydrocarbon accumulation in the depression . Based on detailed 3D seismic interpretation ,this paper reveals the spatial distribution and segmented differential deforma -tion characteristics of the strike slip faults in the Liaodongwan Depression .The strike slip faults mainly occur in the eastern and central Liaodongwan Depression ,trend northeast as a whole ,and have good continuity .They appear as flower structures on sectional view ,while appear as strike slip duplex and imbricated structures on plane view .Comparison of deformation features of strike slip faults in different areas shows that the strike slip fault zone features in obvious segmented differential deformation .The strike slip faults can be divided into two segments ,namely transpressional segment in the south and uplif-tin
