Baofeng of Yunlong, an ancient Bai village in the mountainous area of western Yunnan, which was the religious, political, economic, and cultural center of Yunlong from the 2nd year of the reign of Chongzhen of the Ming Dynasty to the 18th year of the Republic of China. Baofeng has a long history and abundant cultural heritages. During Ming and Qing Dynasty, Baofeng''s religion flourished and Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism and the Sanchong local god worship merged together. Based on the investigation of Baofeng''s indigenous religion, the Sanchong local god worship, this article tries to explore the historical origin of Baofeng religious culture, its characteristics and its research value and meanings.

Aiming at the uneven condition in agronomic growth period, yield and disease resistance existed in current facilities cucumber varieties, the introduction and screening test of 11 cucumber varieties was conducted to select the varieties with excellent comprehensive characters. The results showed that‘Fuyang No. 3’and‘Zaofeng 36’were the best;‘Baofeng’and‘Olympic star’were the better. They can be used as excellent local greenhouse cucumber cultivars to plant, also can acquire better economic benefit.

Effects of different chemical regulators and spraying periods on photosynthesis, morphological index-es and yield of thick planting, medium ear-type hybrid maize Liaodan1211 and thin planting, big ear-type hybrid maize Liaodan120 were studied. The results showed that the photosynthetic rate of ear leaf was all significantly in-creased by spraying chemical regulators at the filling stage. Photosynthetic rate of ear leaf of Liaodan 1211 and Liao-dan120 reached the highest values by spraying“Dun Tianbao”at leafage 9 and 12 respectively. Compared with CK, plant height and ear height of maize were reduced by spraying chemical regulators. Stem diameter of Liaodan 1211 was increased and internode length of that was shortened at“Kang Fengli”treatment, and internode length of maize was shortened at“Dun Tianbao”treatment. Results of yield data showed that the yield of Liaodan1211 was signifi-cantly improved by spraying“Dun Tianbao”at leafage 9, and Liaodan120 reached the highes

In this study,in-door seedling-inoculation method was used to identify the resistance of 16 cultivars and 84 germplasm resources collected from Heilongjiang against Acidovorax avenae. Among the 10 watermelon cultivars,‘Xinhongbao’,‘Jingxin No.1’,‘Shuangkangdadilei’,‘Tedaqinghongbao’,‘Chaofeng F1’ and ‘Qingfa No.7’ were mid-resistant,‘Jingfengbao’ and‘Qihongxigua’ were mid-susceptible,and ‘Jifu No.2’,‘Qingnong No.1’ were susceptible. Among the 6 melon cultivars,‘Qitian No.1’,‘Yongtian No.3’and‘Longtian No.3’ were mid-resistant,‘Ribentianbao’ and ‘Longtian No.1’were moderate susceptible,and ‘Bentian No.3’ was susceptible. No high resistant and immune cultivar was found in watermelon and melon cultivars. Among the 49 melon germplasms the resistant resources accounted for 57.1%. X11-3,X11-1 and X11-8 were high resistant. Among the 35 watermelon germplasms,the resistant resources accounted for 48.6%,11W005 and 11W003 were high resistant.

We studied and compared the botanical characters, disease resistance, yield and quality of eight Cucumis melo L. cultivars, in order to screen out the suitable C. melo L. cultivars for outdoor cultivation in early spring in the arid area of central Ningxia. The results showed that, the two cultivars Tedachaozaotangwang and Fengbao possessed better comprehensive characters than the other cultivars, and were more suitable for outdoor cultivation in early spring in the arid area of central Ningxia.
