双语推荐:意合

“形”和“意合”是英汉对比研究中所涉及的重要术语,但与之对应的英文译名在学界还存在分歧。目前学界较多采用的“形”和“意合”英文译名分别为hypotaxis 和parataxis,但也有学者将其分别译为morph tactic 和semo tactic。根据对文献的考究和分析,文章认为后者的英文译名能够更好地概括重形与重意合文本所表现出的各种语言现象,体现出它们的实际义。
“xinghe”and “yihe” are important Chinese terms in the comparative study of the Chinese and English languages, but opinions are stil divided on corresponding English versions. Some scholars regard hypotaxis and parataxis as their corresponding English terms, while some others take morph tactic and semo tactic as their English terms. Based on a close study and analysis of relevant literature, the author suggests that morph tactic and semo tactic are the appropriate English versions for the Chinese terms of“xinghe” and“yihe”.
