The Theory of the ideological fantasy is Zizek’ s core theory, perhaps the most original in contents, it provides a new theoretical perspective for the analysis of the workings of contemporary capitalist ideology .We could say that the theory of ideological fantasy as a whole is a re-elaboration of the Lacanian theory of the fantasy of desire in the context of a new era , as well as a creative development of Lacan’ s original theoretical assumptions within the realm of social history.Therefore, an investigation of Zizek’ s theory of ideological fantasy could not avoid a deep grasp of Lacanian psychoanalysis , while the relationship between the two should be determined from a hermeneutical point of view .Only in this way we may accurately assimilate the essence and gist of this theory , in order to provide effective reference for the grounding of Chinese current ideology of Socialism .
