Based on wavelet theory and PLC control technology , this paper designed automatic image acquisition algo-rithm ,and set PID controller settings in PLC control process , developed a new PLC control system of garlic direction iden-tification of garlic planting machine .Using Siemens S7-300 series products as hardware system , it used Step7 to pro-gram and control the system .In order to verify the validity and reliability of the system , it chose 158 petal regular and ir-regular shape garlic to research on direction adjustment and test .The test showed that the system can also automatically adjust irregular shape and garlic clove tail with obscured image , and the garlic direction adjustment accuracy is above 90% by the test results .It can meet the need of garlic planting automation , and provides a new automatic control method for the study of garlic planting technology .

Theapplicationofinternalextractiveelectrosprayionizationmassspectrometry(iEESI-MS)was extended to direct molecular analysis of garlic tissues. By obviating time-consuming sample preparations, fragile active garlic substances such as organosulfur compounds ( e. g. , alliin, allicin ) were successfully detected and identified via collision-induced dissociation ( CID) , together with amino acids ( e. g. , arginine) and saccharides ( glucose, polysaccharides) . Mass spectral fingerprints of different kinds of garlic cloves, as well as various post-treatment ones, were further processed via principal component analysis ( PCA) to better visualize the differences. Our experimental results indicated that iEESI-MS allowed rapid recognition of metabolic changes in the garlic tissue subject to various external stimuli. The merits included simplicity of analysis, high speed ( less than 2 min per sample ) , good specificity, and minimal disturbance to the bioactivity of analytes.

Garlic planters developed relatively late and its technology is not matured in the agricultural machinery. However, due to the growing demand for garlic, intensive planting of garlic has become the trend in modern agriculture. The restricting factor of garlic intensive planting is delayed garlic planting machinery development. This paper proposed two key problems of developing garlic planting machinery:garlic cloves insert vertically and the cloves face towards consistent. To solve these two problems, we designed a garlic planting mechanism which can meet the garlic agricultural cultivation requirement. Based on the study of garlic planter at home and abroad, we designed a mechanism and analyzed it in detailed according to the shape characteristics of garlic cloves. The software of Solidworks was used for modeling the mechanism and the parts were printed by 3D printer, and then the garlic cultivation mechanism was built and tested. The influence of Different cutting methods on germination and growth of garlic were discussed. The results show that the two methods of longitudinal cutting with a right deviation from growing point and crosscut 1/2 with a deviation from growing point in the middle of garlic flakes work best. Their emergence rates are faster than conventional treatment (CK). Previous growth also is quickly than CK and other processing methods. Single quantitative traits such as tem diameter and plant height etc. are significantly higher than other processing methods and controls.

The method of mycelia growth rate was used to determine the antifungal activity of garlic root exudates to the Fusarium isolates,and the relationships between the pathogenicity of 18 F. oxysporum isolates from rotten garlic and 12 F. graminearum isolates from wheat scab samples and their sensitivity to garlic root exudates were analyzed. The results indicated that the root exudates of garlic showed antifungal activity to all Fusarium isolates. However,the isolates of F. oxysporum from rotten garlic showed lower sensitivity to the root exudates. Pathoge-nicity tests showed that the 18 isolates of F. oxysporum from rotten garlic could infect garlic,but there was no correlation between the sensitivity of F. oxysporum isolates and their pathogenicity to garlic. Only four isolates of F. graminearum with low sensitivity exhibited pathogenicity to garlic,but the isolates of F. graminearum with high sensitivity could not infect garlic.
