In the co-existing period of TD-LTE network and TD-SCDMA networks, a joint antenna parameter optimization method based on road frequency sweep combined with automatic optimization technology in TD-LTE and TD-SCDMA co-antenna area is discussed. The method guarantees high coverage performance of TD-LTE and TD-SCDMA networks.

Making full use of the GSM/TD-SCDMA subscribers, which can ensure the consistency and continuity of GSM/TD-SCDMA and TD-LTE network, is one of the main principles of TD-LTE network construction. Firstly, the paper introduces the authentication and security mechanisms of UMTS subscribers in GSM/TD-SCDMA network, which is deifne by 3GPP, and the security features and the security mechanisms of TD-LTE. Secondly, the paper discusses the authentication and security mechanisms of UMTS subscribers in the converged network of GSM/TD-SCDMA/TD-LTE, especial for the authentication and security mechanisms of UMTS subscribers switching between GSM/TD-SCDMA and TD-LTE. Finally, the paper proposes the architecture scheme that using the UDC HLR to resolve the network access security for UMTS subscribers in the converged network of GSM/TD-SCDMA/TD-LTE.

In the study of TD-LTE and TD-SCDMA systems with the same band networking, in order to avoid co-channel interference between the adjacent time slots, the time slot switching point of the TD-LTE and TD-SCDMA must be aligned. The traditional alignment model of sub-frame configuration will affect the network capacity of TD-LTE. Therefore, a new optimized model of special sub-frame ratio is proposed, which can effectively improve the TD-LTE downlink system capacity and resource utilization. The proposed model provides a constructive reference to the joint development of TD-SCDMA and TD-LTE networks.

With the large scale deployment of 4G networks is getting closer, networking and optimization method of TD-LTE is now of priorities in current TD-LTE network maintenance and optimization. Especially, the different schemes of TD-LTE construction have a signiifcant impact on TD-SCDMA network, therefore, according to the advantages and disadvantages of the different construction schemes, particularly the schemes of upgrading from existing TD-SCDMA sites to TD-LTE sites, this article proposed a collaborative optimization method which is in favor of the dual-network quality improvement of TD-SCDMA and TD-LTE, and which will also provide an important reference of the subsequent large-scale TD-LTE deployment and optimization. The study and practice of the network of Wuxi, Jiangsu have achieved the purpose of collaborative optimization.
