Cloud storage offers an effective solution for storage problems of regional PACS (Picture Archiving & Communication System) image file. On the basis of analyzing regional PACS storage needs as well as the storage situation, a Hadoop-based cloud storage architecture was built. To improve degraded performance resulting from large quantity of small ifles storage, this paper designed two sets of storage solutions and developed a set of middleware. A test platform of Hadoop-based cloud storage was built and the results showed that:as DataNode nodes increased, the storage performance increased linearly;storage ifle should not be too large for image reading and displaying as soon as possible, each ifle should be kept within 64MB.

In the present paper, function test of different test pattern was used to investigate function failure of static random access memory (SRAM) induced by the total dose effect. By comparing the function test results of different test pattern and single error bit, it is shown that the failure mode of the device is data retention fault, and different storage cell had diverse data retention time, the fault module of device is the storage cell. We discussed the reason for these phenomena in detail using simple circuit model of storage cell, and also analyzed the influence of these phenomena on test method to evaluate the total dose radiation damage of SRAM.

This paper studies the problem of efficient object store and index in digital library and proposes a data repository system called PuntTable. PuntTable uses a schema-free way to store and get the objects and builds indices to support querying the fields inside the objects. In order to achieve a high throughput and low latency, PuntTable is designed by using multiple content storage engine and index storage engine through two interfaces, PuntStore and PuntIndex. PuntStore and PuntIndex are designed as the storage layer of PuntTable. Both the objects content and their indices can choose the most suitable storage layer for a specific data set. PuntTable is tested and evaluated for the performance of processing object data and index store combination by using varies of data sets with different sin-gle record sizes. A project is put forward to implement performance testing on vehicle under traffic condition, based on lower computer with storage test, as an aid subsystem of the platform test system. The performance and functional requirements are given.
